Vol. 2 No. 2

The cover of The Messenger tells the story.  It is the Extra Edition of the Honolulu Star Bulletin of December 7, 1941.

This issue marked the 50th anniversary of the defeat of the Japanese and their surrender at Tokyo Bay on September 2, 1945.  Much of this issue is dedicated to the experiences of a few of the De Leon area service men during World War II.
