COMMUNITY INDEX

Throughout Comanche County and in the De Leon area, dozens of communities grew up around schools and churches. This index list only the pages which contain (or will contain) information and photographs in addition to the school and/or churches. Pages that contain only schools will be listed in the school index. Those that have only church information will be in the church index. The index also includes pages for area communities outside of Comanche County where photos or other information is available. Archie Town is not truly a separate community but is a subdivision of De Leon. It is included here because of its long time reference as Archie Humphries’ “town”.
